The Lip Reading Mobile Phone technology which is developed by the German KIT institute of Anthropomatics is based on the principle of electromyography which basically monitors facial muscle movements and converts them to electrical pulses. These pulses can be waveformed accordingly and eventually converted into sounds at the receiving end of the call.
